Tender Description
To engage a supplier/s for the delivery of customised Emergency Service First Aid Training Services to metropolitan and regional locations for the Emergency Services Sector (ESS), consisting of:
- South Australian Country Fire Service (SACFS);
- South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS);
- South Australian State Emergency Services (SES) and
- South Australian Fire and Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM).
The ESS is responsible for protecting the South Australian community from the effects of fire, chemical incidents and other emergencies, including natural disasters.
In addition to fighting fires, personnel respond to a broader range of emergencies that include road crash rescue, urban search, high-angle rescue and modern threats such as chemical, biological, radiological and other hazardous materials (Hazmat), confined space incidents, and mass casualty events.
