Mid West Ports Authority (MWPA) are seeking tender responses for the construction of a tug harbour at Geraldton Port, Western Australia.
The scope includes the construction of all civil and earthworks for the tug harbour, including breakwater construction, drainage, pavements, service conduits and pits, light pole footings, lining works, and navigation aids (provisional). Works also include transport, delivery, and on-site management of principal supplied Quarried Materials.
MWPA is seeking an experienced marine and breakwater construction contractor to undertake construction works associated with this package.
To be considered eligible to tender, the following pre-requisites apply:
- Tenderers are to have successfully completed major marine infrastructure projects (i.e. breakwaters, seawalls, etc. circa $20M-$50M) in the past 3-5 years, and
- Tenderers are to have access to suitable marine construction plant and equipment in 2026/2027 (e.g. cranes, rock placement equipment, etc.)

A mandatory site briefing will be held at 11am Tuesday 20 January 2026 for eligible suppliers, with tender submissions to be lodged by 3pm Thursday 5 February 2026.
