Northern Tasmania Intermodal Freight Terminal: Lead Design Consultant

Northern Tasmania Development Corporation in partnership with Northern Midlands Council is seeking professional services for a Lead Design Consultant (LDC) to develop a Functional Design Brief, Precinct Plan and Masterplan for the proposed Northern Tasmania Intermodal Facility project.

Key Responsibilities:

1.develop a Functional Design Brief (FDB) for the project including the enabling infrastructure requirements for the proposed precinct.

2.develop a precinct plan for the core terminal facility, warehousing and container storage, supported by an enabling infrastructure plan

3.develop a masterplan for the broader intermodal precinct, including enabling infrastructure.

4.the design work will support the development of the project business case. Which is being developed by NTDC and its consultants in alignment with Structured Infrastructure Investment Review Process (SIIRP) and Infrastructure Australia Assessment Frameworks.

5.support the project team to develop a Multi Criteria Analysis (MCA) framework to assess project options and undertake site selection analysis.

6.collaborate with user groups, industry reference groups, project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
