The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the proposed Disability Access Works at Hilliard State School, located at 106-110 Hanover Drive, Alexandra Hills QLD 4161, as part of the Education for all (ED4ALL) program.
The scope of works comprises of the design and construction of new concrete ramps, covered walkways, handrails and associated landscaping, electrical and drainage works to establish a disability access path from the school’s main spine to the Hall building at Hilliard SS. All works are to be completed by April 2026.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
