Shiralee Sewer Pump Station 1 & 2 Upgrades

Orange City Council has identified the need to upgrade Shiralee Sewer Pump Stations 1 and 2 (SPS 1 & SPS 2) following a recent performance and site investigation. These pump stations were commissioned in 2016 to support development in the Shiralee urban release area.

Since the original construction, Council has introduced improved design standards for sewer pump stations, particularly around access and safety. As development in Shiralee continues to progress, upgrades are now required to ensure the pump stations can meet the current and future demand.

The general works to be undertaken but not limited to, will consist of the following activities:

- Preparation of preliminary plans for WHS, Quality and Environmental Management.

- Site survey, mobilisation and establishment.

- The detailed design, supply and construction of two sewer pump station upgrades.

- Supply and construction of all necessary sewer pump station upgrade components to achieve the upgrade requirements.

- Construction of all associated site civil works.

- Testing, commissioning and handover to Council.

- Demobilisation (removal of temporary construction facilities) and completion of restoration work.
