Dee Why Library Toilet Refurbishment

SERVICE REQUIRED:

Dee Why Library is one of the busiest libraries in Northern Beaches and its amenities of male and female toilets are highly utilised and identified for a much-needed refurbishment to extend their service life.

Council has set aside funds in its Capital Works program to undertake the proposed Works in 2025/26 financial year and is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the Dee Why Library Toilet Refurbishment Works.

The scope of works generally includes but not limited to site establishment, minor demolition, tiling, carpentry, toilet partitioning, building services modifications / connections, site disestablishment including site clean and rubbish disposal ready for handover.

The Works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this Request for Quotation (RFQ). To have the quotations considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in this RFQ document is provided.

Expected commencement of on-site works January/February 2026.

SITE BRIEFING:

A Site briefing will be held on Tuesday 2 December 2025 at 11:30 am at Dee Why Library. Respondents should ensure they review all documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

Submissions close at 2:00 pm on Thursday 11 December 2025 and must be fully received by this time.

LODGEMENT:

Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
