Treeworks Panel Tender

Junee Shire Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced Tenderers for the provision of Tree works in accordance with the requirements identified in the Scope of Works.

The Tree works panel is being established to address scheduled and other Tree works for the 2025-26 year, which consists of tree trimming, tree removal, stump and tree root grinding etc. within the Junee Shire Council area.

The panel contract arrangement for the T25-11-Treeworks Panel Tender will facilitate an efficient process for Council in managing value, performance and regulatory compliance for the shires Tree works program. The Contractor is to start and finish at job sites throughout the Junee Shire Council area.

This contract timeframe will be specific to the projects currently planned for the 2025-26 financial year, which may be dependent on the weather conditions. Please note that Junee Shire Council reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of hours and/or scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.

The contract will be initially signed for one year. Council may extend the agreement up to two occurrences, for another one-year period, based on the assessment outcome of contractor’s performance, provision of the appropriate insurances and the rates at the end of each financial year.

The contractor will be expected to work under Junee Shire Councils management plans and procedures but to maintain their own Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).

The successful Contractor shall be required to provide and follow a comprehensive WH&S and Risk Management system, adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation plus hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances as detailed in the Tender documentation. These documents must be supplied with any Tender submission.
