The proposed procurement activity will deliver the civil works required for the car park redevelopment.

The existing Glade Precinct car park is in a state of disrepair and requires upgrading to meet the ongoing operational needs of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS).

This upgrade will support the delivery of visitor services for Dorrigo National Park from the newly constructed Temporary Visitor Centre.

Scope

The tendered works are to include, but are not limited to:

• Formalise the existing gravel carpark by sealing the surface with asphalt and applying line marking to define parking spaces.
• Widen sections of the carpark and access roads to improve circulation and accommodate larger vehicles.
• Provide compliant accessible carpark bays through appropriate line marking and installation of statutory traffic signage.
• Remove selected trees to enable the expansion of the carpark and associated works.
• Strengthen sections of the existing road pavement to support bus movements by increasing pavement depth.
• Install new stormwater management infrastructure, including kerb and gutter systems.
• Construct additional pedestrian pathways to separate pedestrian and vehicle movements, improving visitor safety.
