The Supply and Delivery of Helicopters Service for the 2026

Expressions of Interest / Quotations are invited by the Flinders Shire Council for the performance of the works described below, subject to the Conditions of Quotation and the Conditions of Contract and any other documents here-with issued for the purposes of inviting quotations

Expressions of Interest / Quotations are to be lodged on the form and submitted via email to Disaster Management Officer, dmo@flinders.qld.gov.au.

The works should commence when notified by Council that you have been successful in being an approved contractor on Council’s Register of Approved Contractors – Helicopter Services (See Specification).

Specific contractual services and/or engagements will only be activated in accordance with the issue of an official approved council order, and the contractor may only be activated based upon specific emergencies, events, incidents or circumstances. The calling of quotations for helicopter services in these circumstances is not a guarantee of future work, services and/or engagements on behalf of council.

PARTICULARS OF WORK / SERVICES

HELICOPTER SERVICES – FLINDERS SHIRE

In accordance with Section 231 of the Local Government Regulation 2012 Council is inviting appropriately qualified and licenced contractors to submit written quotations for registration on Council’s

Register of Approved Contractors for the supply of helicopter services to be utilised as required in the event of an emergency (i.e. floods, disaster, or incident) and/or for food re-supply or evacuations involving isolated properties.
