Occupational Medical Services

The City of Cockburn (The Principal) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor for the provision of Occupational Medical Services.

Local Governments have a statutory obligation to ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees under Work Health and Safety Act 2020 (WA).

Occupational medical services play a critical role in meeting these obligations by providing professional health assessments, advice, and support for employees across a range of scenarios including pre-employment, injury management, health surveillance, and fitness for duty evaluations.

All services shall be executed to the satisfaction of the Principal’s Representative in strict accordance with the Contract, this Specification, and the Contracted Schedule of Rates along with any work instruction issued by the Principal’s Representative.

The proposed Contract shall be in force for a period of three (3) years from the date of contract award, with a Principal instigated option to extend up one (1) year and a further twelve (12) months; the Contract is expected to commence in February 2026.
