Sale of Impounded Vehicles

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Section 237 of the Local Government Act 1999, the Corporation of the City of Marion has impounded the following vehicles found abandoned on streets within the municipality:

· Volkswagen Passat - Silver - XJZ565

· Trailer - Silver- TZE199

· Rover Half Cabin - Cream - YV25S

· Mazda 6 - Grey - XPK893

· Toyota Camry - White - S361DAZ

All expenses connected with the removal, custody, and maintenance of the above-named vehicles, and the advertisement of same, are required to be paid within fourteen (14) days of this notice by the owner, and possession taken by 17 December 2025. If this has not occurred, the City of Marion will dispose of the said vehicles by public tender.

The vehicles may be viewed on Wednesday, 19 November 2025, and Friday, 21 November 2025, at Aldinga Towing, 207 Aldinga Beach Road, Aldinga, between the hours of 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.

Tenders will only be accepted on a City of Marion Tender Form, available by phoning administration on 8375-6600. Envelopes should be marked “Tender Impounded Vehicles,” City of Marion, 245 Sturt Rd, Sturt SA 5047.

Tenders close at 5:00 PM on 5 December 2025.
