Bowden/Seaton Community Housing Provider Affordable Housing Development (Offer to purchase)

This procurement will select one or more Community Housing Providers (CHPs) to purchase turnkey affordable rental apartment buildings that Renewal SA will construct in the Bowden and Seaton precincts that have secured HAFFF Round 1 funding. From settlement, the CHP will own and manage the homes.

The successful CHP will be responsible for:

· Acceptance of novation of Housing Australia’s Framework Funding Agreement and Project Schedule for each project

· Finalising arrangements with Housing Australia regarding HAFFF debt and grant funding

· Sourcing equity requirements for the projects

· Execution of a land sale contract with Renewal SA

· Affordable housing tenancy sourcing and management

The Commonwealth’s program objective is for all HAFFF funded homes to be delivered and operational (tenanted) by 2028.
