Gerry Emery Reserve Athol Noble Oval Sport Facility Infrastructure Upgrade

Gerry Emery Reserve and Athol Noble Oval have experienced poor oval drainage impacting on community use of the oval and reserve. As a result, council and the community identified the need to improve oval drainage with the oval unable to be used for periods after moderate rainfall events.

Kiama Council engaged a consultant engineering and sports field specialist to undertake

stormwater and oval drainage investigations and complete a drainage design and specification for the oval. The investigation and design recommended a subsoil drainage system to improve the oval drainage and usability. This contract is for the construction of a subsoil drainage system and associated stormwater connections including the supply of all required materials.
