FRWS WST 0010 W9 - LRRC Permanent Leachate Treatment

1. The work to be performed under this Contract comprises the provision of all materials, plant and labour and the performance of all operations of whatever kind necessary for the complete and proper design, construction, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover for the Leachate PFAS Removal System at the LRRC.

2. Design, documentation, construction, commissioning and process proving of the new Leachate PFAS Removal System shall include all design, civil, structural, building, mechanical, electrical, control and telemetry works required under this Contract, including but not limited to:

a) Complete PFAS Removal System to meet all specified requirements. It is anticipated that the most economical systems for this application will be containerised, although the Principal will consider alternative configurations.

b) Connection to the feed pipework from the leachate pond. The pump, pipework connection, and electrical connection will be supplied and installed by others. The Contractor is required to nominate the required range of flows and discharge heads this pump will be required to deliver at the pipework connection point to the system as a part of their design, power it from the leachate PFAS Removal System switchboards, and integrate it into the overall control of the leachate PFAS Removal System.

c) Connection to the Treated Leachate Buffer Tank. The tank will be supplied and installed by others. The Contractor is required to advise any hydraulic requirements or limitations on the discharges to this tank.

d) All Electrical, Telemetry, SCADA systems required for operation of the leachate PFAS Removal System, including connection to the relevant existing systems (as applicable);

e) Instrumentation for process monitoring and control

f) Operation and Maintenance Manuals

g) As-Constructed Drawings and Documentation

h) Testing and commissioning

i) Training of LCC staff

j) Proof of Performance Testing

k) Correction of all defects during the Defects Liability Period
