Ecological Restoration Services

Tenders are invited for assisted riparian rainforest revegetation and assisted regeneration/weed control, and maintenance works.

Council has received funding from the Resilient Rivers Initiative SEQ to undertake two riparian/catchment restoration projects across three Sunshine Coast LGA waterway catchments.

This Contract is structured into two (2) Separable Portions (sites) and may be awarded to one or more Contractors:

A. North Maroochy River – included is riparian rainforest revegetation and assisted regeneration/weed control on riparian floodplain

B. Browns Creek – included is riparian rainforest revegetation and assisted regeneration/weed control on riparian floodplain

The scope of work includes site set out and preparation, initial weed management, tube stock installation, establishment maintenance and assisted regeneration. Contractor/s will be required to provide a two (2) year maintenance program for both Separable Portions.

The successful Contractor will be required to provide all materials, plant and labour to perform all necessary operations for the completion of this project in accordance with Schedule 5 - Attachment 1 - Specification.

This is a Schedule of Rates Contract. Works will commence in February 2026.
