Tender Description
The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites tenders for the carrying out of printing services by one or more qualified and experienced suppliers to support the ongoing production and supply of a range of parking permits issued by the City. These permits play a critical role in the effective management of on-street parking within the local government area, helping to balance the needs of residents, businesses, and essential service providers in accordance with this Request for Tender.
Summary of Services
The successful Tenderer will be responsible for the secure, efficient, and timely production and distribution of various categories of parking permits, including:
Residential/Business Permits
Issued to eligible residents and businesses for on-street parking access in designated zones.
Visitor Permits
Short-term permits for guests of local residents.
Tradesperson Permits
Permits allowing tradespeople to park while undertaking work in residential areas.
Carer and Support Worker Permits
Issued to those providing essential care services within the community.
Car Share Permits
Supporting shared mobility options to reduce congestion and car ownership.
The contract term will be for 3 years (FY26-FY28), with options to extend for two further Terms of one year each.
The City's preference is to contract with an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander organisation. This is not mandatory - submissions will be evaluated
The City will assess all tender submissions based on value for money, considering both qualitative criteria and overall cost.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFT.
