Managed Application Service

The Department of the Premier and Cabinet is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide a Managed Application Service. The proposed service will support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of various business applications critical to the operations of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet. This Expressions of Interest process aims to identify suitable suppliers to be invited to tender in January 2026. The tender process will enable the establishment of a header arrangement with a single selected supplier, under which Statements of Work (SoWs) will be issued for specific application support services as required.

The Managed Application Service will exclude platform and infrastructure layers, as these are currently supported through existing managed service providers.

The scope of the Managed Application Service will focus on application-level services, including but not limited to:

• Development, maintenance, and support of applications built on Azure .NET.

• Management and enhancement of solutions on Microsoft Dynamics platforms.

• Development and automation of workflows and processes using Microsoft Power Automate.

• Management of a Microsoft GitHub environment to ensure quality, consistency, and governance of code management and repository practices.

The service provider will be required to deliver a high standard of application management, ensuring alignment with Queensland Government policies, standards, and best practices, including security, accessibility, and compliance requirements.
