Procurement for on-demand professional services to support the Buyer's mainframe Capability

The Buyer’s (Department of Home Affairs) Traveller Cargo and Trade Systems Branch (TCTSB) works collaboratively across the Department and the Australian Border Force (ABF) to provide ICT capability support and enhancements to more than 90 critical border management systems.

The range of critical projects TCTSB supports underpins:

1. Passenger Clearance (inbound and outbound);
2. Management of Trade and Cargo systems;
3. Revenue Collection and trade enforcement; and
4. Intelligence collection and dissemination.

The supporting technology for critical national infrastructure, which uses dated languages results in the inability to secure technical staff skilled in those old application languages.

TCTSB engaging skilled resources in mainframe for short to medium term assignments through services arrangement. Tasking requests will be used to secure the required resources through the Seller for the required skills, for the activity required.

The Buyer is seeking on-demand professional and technical services (Services) from a Seller to assist the team in mainframe, and other related technology platforms and software’s including artificial intelligence (AI) opportunities (See Attachment 1 Requirements - MainFrame v1.0).
