Kauika Road Bridge Strengthening

Whangarei District Council are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the flexural strengthening of all bridge beams of the Kauika Road Bridge, (Bridge No.015) using Fibre Reinforced Polymer (FRP) and addition of shear studs between the deck and bridge beams. Kauika Road Bridge spans Kirikiri Stream, at the location of Kauika Road, Kirikiri Stream is not tidal.

PLEASE NOTE: This contract is being procured under the new NZS3910:2023 Standard.
