Construction of a New Row of Burial Facility for Native Grove Cemetery - Coonabarabran

This project includes all works required to construct an 87 m-long burial ground facility in Native Grove Cemetery - Coonabarabran consisting of one row with two burial lines, a concrete plinth, and two grass roads covered with Geohex and turf laid on a gravel base and bordered by two concrete kerbs including four concrete laybacks.

The works under the contract include the following activities:

a) Preparation and submission of a project quality plan focusing on the compaction of gravel and soil.

b) Set out of concrete plinth, kerb A & B, burial area and grass road based on the Set Out Points (SOPs). (The SOPs are marked on the ground)

c) Implementation of sediment & erosion control measures as required.

d) Earthworks including cut and fill according to the design level using soil and gravel.

e) Reform and regrade the entering and exit area with gravel.

f) Base preparation for Geohex using gravel.

g) Demolishing existing kerb for laybacks

h) Installation and fixing of steel reinforcement for concrete plinth.

i) Concrete placement and finishing for kerb A and B, laybacks A, B, C and D and concrete plinth.

j) Constructing Geohex pavement covered with turf.

k) Clean and tidy the site after work completion

A non-mandatory pre tender meeting will be held on site 12noon Monday 1st of December 2025.
