High Risk Rural Intersections

Canterbury is known for long straight rural roads, and high vehicle speeds. A consequence of this is the residual high risk to motorists should a driver fail to see an intersection approaching.

This Contract is therefore for minor seal widening, line marking, signage and delineation at multiple rural intersections throughout the Waimakariri District to help improve the conspicuity at the identified intersections.
