Request for Expression of Interest - EOI - Audio Visual Partner for AV refresh program

Key problem/s

The request seeks to engage an experienced Seller who has the capability to provide the supply and installation of Audio Visual (AV) systems in support of a secure Government Department. This Expression of Interest (EOI) provides an opportunity for select industry experts to become a partner on a 12-month refresh program across a subset of the AV capability for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the Buyer).

Respondents will be assessed against their responses and ability to fulfil the defined project and mandatory requirements. The successful candidate (the Seller) will be engaged to deliver all or part of the capability outlined within the attached Requirements Document, and additional works for the Buyer under subsequent work packages at the Buyer’s sole discretion. 

The users and their needs

The Buyer is seeking to perform an asset replacement project to ensure continued serviceability of integrated systems and ongoing alignment to current and emerging technologies of a subset of their rooms. The Buyer relies on their AV facilities to successfully communicate with internal and external business units and partners and perform day to day operation of capabilities. The successful asset replacement of the AV systems will ensure that the supporting technologies are uplifted in line with current industry standards and are serviceable throughout the expected lifecycle. The deployments outlined within this Requirements Document include the installation of an IPTV system, and refresh of a function room in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

Technical/business constraints

The systems are located within a secure area.

All Seller proposed AV hardware must not contain any Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth or other wireless connectivity.

All Seller provisioned cabling must be plenum rated.

All Seller proposed hardware components to be aligned with secure and trusted supply chains
