Tender Description
LGAP 26016 - Meningie - Community Wastewater Management Scheme Pump Station - Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System Upgrade
Scope of Works
The Coorong District Council operates a network of Community Wastewater Management Scheme (CWMS) pump stations located in the South Australian township of Meningie. These stations operate in series, with some sharing a rising main, transferring wastewater from one station to the next before ultimately reaching the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Council requires the installation of a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system across these pump stations to enable coordinated communication, monitoring, and control between all stations and the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
A total of eight (8) pump stations is included in this upgrade. Each station must be capable of communicating with the others and with the Wastewater Treatment Plant to ensure efficient operation, proactive monitoring, and reliable management of the CWMS, while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to:
- Supply and installation of SCADA hardware and software at each pump station.
- Configuration of communication links between all pump stations and the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
- Integration of the SCADA system to allow centralised monitoring, control, and fault management.
- Testing, commissioning, and training to ensure the system is fully operational and meets regulatory requirements.
