Far North District SCADA Upgrade

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the provision of design and build services associated with Far North District Council’s SCADA Upgrade Programme, and is for the supply of labour (design, configuration and installation), materials, and equipment for the design and construction of remote sites consisting of:

a. communications base units and repeater sites

b. end point remote terminal units (pump stations, reservoirs, monitoring sites) and associated communications equipment.

This RFP is for Stage 1 of 3 stages. It involves the design, configuration, and installation required to upgrade the existing Celcom telemetry system and Kingfisher RTU units with a new point-to-multipoint communications system based on Trio radios, SCADAPack RTUs, and integrated into FNDC’s new System Platform environment.

These works are Stage 1 in a three-stage programme to design, supply, programme, install, test and commission the new radio/cellular communications, remote telemetry units, base stations and SCADA monitoring for these sites.
