Dual Axle Rear Loading Verge Collection Compactor Truck

The City of Gosnells requires the supply and delivery of a new dual axle rear loading Waste Compactor Truck, with a 24m3 capacity and a minimum 8 Tonne payload. It will be used to pick up bulk green waste and bulk domestic junk. The vehicle will cover an average of up to 100km per day.

The operator shall control the hopper’s loading and compaction from the rear of the truck, requiring the truck to have all compactor controls located at the rear on the passenger’s side. Loading of the truck is generally from a small front-end loader with grab attachment.

Respondents are advised that a joint submission offering the cab chassis and the compactor body is required. Separate quotes for either unit will not be accepted.
