Single Axle Side Loading Waste Compactor Truck

The City of Gosnells requires the supply and delivery of a new single axle Waste Compactor Truck, a side loading hopper with a minimum 18m3 capacity and a minimum 4.5 Tonne payload. It will be used to pick up domestic 240L and 140L mobile garbage bins, covering an average distance of 100km per day.

The driver shall control the hopper’s loading and compaction from within the truck’s cab, requiring the truck to have dual steering capability with duplicated instrumentation and foot controls.

Respondents are advised that a joint submission offering the cab chassis and the compactor body is required. Separate quotes for either unit will not be accepted.
