UQ Engineering Panel Arrangement

The University of Queensland (UQ) seeks offers to set up a panel for the supply of engineering services, under the following disciplines:

•  Mechanical Engineering
•  Electrical Engineering
•  Hydraulic Engineering
•  Vertical Transport
•  Fire Protection
•  Fire Safety
•  Acoustic Engineering

Suppliers are asked to demonstrate their capability in covering the following service requirements:

1. Professional Engineering Project services to navigate all stages of the project lifecycle and UQ Gated CapEx process, as part of UQ’s project governance requirements; and / or

2. Professional Engineering Advisory services, where required outside of projects delivered under the Gated CapEx Framework.

Additionally, suppliers are asked to demonstrate their engineering discipline specific capabilities including:

• Mechanical
•  Electrical
•  Hydraulic
•  Fire Protection
•  Fire Safety Engineering
•  Vertical Transport
•  Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD)
•  Acoustics and Vibration

There is no requirement for Suppliers to be capable of offering all services listed. Suppliers will only be evaluated on the services they are capable of offering and will not be scored directly against the quantity of services they nominate.

To meet the wide variety and scope of projects at UQ, the panel is intended to include a balance of larger multi-discipline suppliers and smaller specialist suppliers.

The requirements below are indicative only and the actual service requirement will be detailed in the future Contract Order.
