Cherbourg Queensland Community Support Scheme

The Customer (being the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety,) is seeking quotes for a service is to be located in Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire and deliver QCSS supports to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. A deep awareness of culturally safe services within the community is considered essential in developing the variety of supports required under the service delivery model. Capacity exists for brokerage or sub-contracting arrangements with other providers where appropriate. Recruitment, training and upskilling of local community members, where possible and appropriate, is highly favoured. Service hours are between 9:00am and 5:00pm, with scope to work outside this range if better suited to the community. The initial contract is for 2 years and 6 months, commencing 1 April 2026. No establishment costs are considered.
