Commercial and Residential Building Audit

The Town of Port Hedland owns a portfolio of properties which includes residential houses, commercial and specialised facilities including day cares, gymnasiums, pools & various administration buildings & public ablutions.

Since the last building & audit inspections were completed in 2019 & 2020, the Town has built or acquired multiple residential and commercial buildings, which in turn, has added significant scheduled and reactive maintenance requirements that need to be costed and effectively managed by the Town & provide a more wholistic approach to managing and maintaining our assets.

To understand and capture missing data relevant to their current condition, the Town is seeking a qualified contractor to complete a full building and inspection audit to assist with planning future capital works and maintenance scheduling and to understand the impacts of works completed thus far.

The Town’s property portfolio is made up of the following asset type:

• 78 residential properties – houses & units

• 16 public ablutions – manual and exeloo

• 51 commercial and specialised buildings

Contractors may choose to provide a response in relation to one or both of the specific asset type as Part Offers, defined as below:

• Part Offer 1 – Residential Properties – Port and South Hedland

• Part Offer 2 – Public Ablutions & Commercial and Specialised Buildings – Port and South Hedland
