Pre-Procurement Market Engagement for the Waikato Regional Council's New Bus Contracts

WRC is undertaking a pre-procurement market engagement (RFI) to assist us to finalise the procurement strategy and tender documentation. The purpose of this RFI is to:

• Outline how the market engagement process is to be conducted
•  Provide draft NBC information to potential suppliers
•  Offer potential suppliers an opportunity to provide feedback on the RFI pack or meet with WRC ahead of the issue of the tender documents.

The pre-procurement engagement is a precursor to, and not part of, the formal competitive procurement process, which commences with the request for proposals, anticipated in March 2026
