East End Public Domain Stages 3, 4 and 7 Refurbishment

The City of Newcastle (CN) is upgrading the existing streetscape and public domain within the Hunter Street Mall precinct to improve public interaction within the space. Stage 3&4 is on Hunter Street, bound by Thorn Street and Newcomen Street. Stage 7 is on Market Street, bound by Hunter Street and Keightley Street. Stage 8 is on Newcomen Street, bound by Scott Street and Hunter Street and may form part of the package post contract award with documentation and advice provided at a later date.

Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract are invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2pm on Tuesday 16 December 2025. Responsibility for lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Tender lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.

A NON-MANDATORY TENDER MEETING: A pre-tender meeting will be held. The meeting will be held onsite on Tuesday 25 November at 10am, meeting at corner of Newcomen & Hunter Street. The Principal encourages attendance at the meeting.
