Bandon Road – Safety Improvement Early Works

Tenders are invited from Prequalified contractors with Transport for NSW for Bandon Road – Safety Improvement Early Works.

The Contractor’s Activities to be performed under the Contract include:

(i) Earthworks activities, including Cut & Fill;

(ii) Drainage installation for underground pipes, kerb inlets, gutters, and underground storage tank;

(iii) Kerb & Gutter, per the plans;

(iv) Mill and re-sheet pavement per the provided plans;

(v) Full pavement section installation;

(vi) Compaction;

(vii) Certification;

(viii) Lighting installation;

(ix) Utility installation and relocation, (when needed), which would also include Authority approval for the completed works;

(x) Footpath construction;

(xi) Completion of new bus stops, kiss & ride, and associated facilities for proper operation (seats, signs, etc); and,

(xii) Construction of new disabled parking areas located near Vineyard Railway Station.

Tenders are invited from pre-qualified contractors with Transport for NSW under the National Prequalification Scheme at Civil (Roadworks R1 & Financial F5) to undertake the construction of Bandon Road – Safety Improvement Early Works. This work consists of a commuter car park with more than 70 parking spaces for motorists using train services at Vineyard Station; accessible parking and improved bus stop facilities for northbound and southbound services; intersection improvements including signage for motorist safety and a pedestrian refuge for safe crossing of Riverstone Parade, upgraded pavement, road kerbs, and around 150 metres of new pedestrian footpaths; landscaping with garden beds and low growth vegetation. A pre-tender meeting will be on Thursday, 13 November 2025 via Microsoft Teams commencing at 14:00. Attendance is mandatory to submit a conforming Application.

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework, NSW Government Supplier Code of Conduct and New South Wales Industrial Relations Guidelines: Building and Construction Procurement.

This Project is jointly/fully funded by the Australian Government.

It is a requirement for this Project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out.
