Rehabilitation Services Provider Panel

WorkCover Queensland has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of establishing a Rehabilitation Services Provider Panel (RSPP). The opportunity allows WorkCover Queensland to:

• review the current panel for the RSPP services to insure they continue to meet WorkCover’s needs:

• consideration of new speciality services to be more transparent and enable CAs to directly refer rather than contacting the providers first to ascertain if they offer these additional specialty services;

• Establish a panel with the flexibility to utilise the expertise of panel members as needed by Workcover; and

• ensure adequate coverage for all regions throughout Queensland of core services by appointing Providers in areas of high demand and as a result of recent trends.

• reflection on current state requirements within the Workers’ Compensation scheme to ensure the contract and Service Level Standards (SLS) Attachment 2 - Service Level Standards.docx are updated to provide a robust framework that supports the ongoing service needs of WorkCover’s RSPP services.

Please note: These requirements apply to both the Provider and any individuals within the organisation, including those engaged through subcontractors or other consulting arrangements, who may perform work on behalf of the Provider.

All RSPP members must notify WorkCover immediately if circumstances change and they are no longer able to meet the minimum mandatory requirements.

All suppliers under this agreement will be qualified and certified as outlined in the Service Level Standards (SLS). They will provide assessments, rehabilitation services, and support to assist workers in their recovery and successful return to work.

The scope of service Providers covered under the RSPP includes:

• Accredited Exercise Physiologist

• Occupational Therapist

• Osteopath

• Physiotherapist

• Psychologist

• Rehabilitation Counsellor

• Social Worker

• Vocational Placement Provider

Please note: All providers must maintain registration with their relevant professional association or body, with no restrictions, undertakings, or conditions on practice e.g. AHPRA or equivalent association.
