Tender Description
The Recreation Space works deliver a new regional-scale multigenerational recreation facility at Malak Park, designed to support play, recreation and community gathering for people of all ages and abilities.
The works comprise the construction of Stage 1 Contract 2, which includes the installation of multi-thrill fixed play equipment, softfall surfaces, shared pathways, seating nodes, and shade sail structure.
Associated landscape works encompass new tree planting, garden bed, irrigation systems, and open grassed areas, enhancing cooling, greening.
Supporting infrastructure includes pathway lighting, drainage systems, water and electrical services to ensure a safe and functional recreational environment.
The design integrates with the recently redeveloped car park and surrounding community facilities to deliver a safe, accessible and inclusive space.
