Upgrade of the Wild Dog Barrier Fence

The Department of Primary Industries (DPI), through Biosecurity Queensland, is seeking responses to establish a pool of qualified suppliers to performance construction, maintenance, upgrade and repair works to the Wild Dog Barrier Fence.

The Wild Dog Barrier Fence (WDBF) runs for 2 500 kilometres from Jandowae in the east, to 50 kilometres west of Hungerford on the Queensland-New South Wales border. The WDBF is a departmental asset and is dedicated to the protection of 26.5 million hectares of sheep and cattle grazing country.

Suppliers will be qualified for two WDBF Service Regions - East (Jandowae to Blackall) and West (Blackall to Hungerford) - for a possible total term to 30 June 2029.
