Deveron Street Foul Sewer Renewals and Don Street Watermain Renewals

This Contract is for the supply of all labour, materials and plant necessary for the two separable portions specified as Portion A: Don St Watermain Renewals, and Portion B: Deveron St Foulsewer Renewals.

The Portion A is for the renewal of approximately 224m of watermain on Don St between Deveron St and Kelvin St. The existing watermain cast iron line is to be renewed on the northbound lane on Don Street with a DN100 PVC-O PN12.5 Series 1 pipe. Existing watermain will be made redundant and shall be abandoned by grout filling unless instructed otherwise.

The Portion B is for the renewal of approximately 484m of foul sewer main, and all associated works on Deveron St between Tay St and Leet St. The existing foul sewer earthenware pipes are to be renewed on the same alignments with DN225 SN8 and DN150 SN8 uPVC pipes respectively. Existing drainage pipes are to be abandoned or removed depending on the trenching methodology.

The Contract shall also include the renewal of all associated laterals, manhole structures, valves, hydrants, fittings fixtures and connections.
