QED 5781 2025 Strathpine West SS - Access Ramps (with design responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Access Ramps at Strathpine West SS, located at 16/22 Garbala Drive, Strathpine QLD 4500, as part of the Ed4All (ED4ALL) program.

The new access ramps will provide access to the Library, Hall and Prep. The ramps include covered walkways, with seating, landscaping, stairs and screens. The position of the ramps are located in the centre of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2026.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1,000,000.00

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
