Project Detailed Design and Technical Advisory Consultant - Light Rail Commonwealth Park to Woden

Infrastructure Canberra (iCBR) is planning to undertake a procurement to engage a suitably qualified Consultant for the provision of Project Detailed Design and Technical Advisory Consultant services for the Light Rail Commonwealth Park to Woden project. The Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) is the first stage of a planned two stage procurement. Only respondents shortlisted through the EOI stage will be invited to participate in the second stage Request for Proposal.

The planned scope of work includes:

• the preparation of designs and specifications suitable to inform planning and approval submissions associated with the construction and operations for the extension of the Light Rail Stage 2B system from Commonwealth Park Stop to Callam Street at Woden
• the preparation of design suitable for delivery stage Business Case development
• the provision of TA Services associated with the planning and procurement of relevant Delivery and operations and maintenance contracts for Light Rail Stage 2B; and
• the provision of TA Services to Infrastructure Canberra (as required) during design, delivery procurement, and design finalisation for the light rail system from Commonwealth Park Stop to Woden.

***Note that Secure Local Jobs Code does not apply to this procurement on the basis the services fall within the definition of Excluded Services in accordance with Part 4, 12AB of the Government Procurement Regulation 2007 as “professional, scientific and technical services within the meaning of the ANZSIC, Division M. ***
