City of Sydney Local Climate Hazard Assessment LTQ 2025

The Council of the City of Sydney ("Council") invites Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for the carrying out of climate change consultancy for the climate hazard assessment and operational risk framework in accordance with this request.

The City of Sydney (the 'City') requests quotations for the provision of a full physical, climate-based hazard assessment of the City of Sydney local government area (LGA). Using all available up-to-date data, the City of Sydney is seeking to develop a concise account of what physical hazards it will experience, when, where in the local area and to what degree the climate hazards are expected to impact the LGA.

The City of Sydney will use the LGA-level climate hazard snapshot to undertake climate risk assessments for its own operational assets and services. The project will develop tools and information to facilitate this throughout the organisation.

The City will assess all tender submissions based on value for money considering both qualitative criteria and overall cost.

Bidders must submit tenders in the manner required by this RFQ.
