National Capital Exhibition Model update

The National Capital Authority is looking for a suitably qualified supplier to provide updates to the Canberra model.

The Canberra model, located at the National Capital Exhibition at Regatta Point, is a large-scale, highly detailed three-dimensional representation of the city of Canberra and its surrounding landscape. It is permanently installed at the NCE and is integrated with a timed projection presentation, making it one of the most significant visitor experience assets within the exhibition. The Model illustrates the urban design, layout, and evolution of the capital city and is relied upon by thousands of visitors each year, including students, tour groups, and international dignitaries.

The Model was last comprehensively updated in 2018. Since that time, a number of changes have occurred to Canberra’s built and natural environment, requiring an update to ensure accuracy and relevance. The Model has also experienced normal wear and tear, necessitating professional maintenance and repairs.
