QED 5693 2025 Grovely SS - Asbestos Mitigation and OLA Landscaping (with Design Responsibility)

The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the delivery of Zones 6 (Priority 1) and 1 (Priority 2) Landscaping & Asbestos Mitigation project at the Grovely State School, located at 200 Dawson Parade, Keperra QLD 4054, as part of the Repair & Replacement (R&R) program. Zone 1 is at the front of the school and Zone 6 is accessed from the School Oval via the carpark of Dawson Parade. All works are to be completed per Contract documents and generally comprise cut, removal of Asbestos *found within soil, trees and fill of existing Landscaping areas for tiered sandstone seating to Zone 1 and make good for a new Outdoor Learning Area to Zone 6.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works and
• Have certified 3rd Party Quality Assurance,

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance

It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
