Landfill Master Planning and Cell 10 Design Summerhill Waste Management Centre

Newcastle City Council (Council) invites suitably qualified tenderers to provide Concept and Detailed Design services for the Cell 10 project (and associated works) at the Summerhill Waste Management Centre (SWMC) within the City of Newcastle Local Government Area (LGA). The Successful Tenderer shall be responsible for delivering all works outlined in the tender brief and in conjunction with all associated tender documents. The scope of work includes but is not limited to:

•  Review of historical site documentation
•  Leachate modelling
•  Long term planning
•  Risk management
•  Regulatory compliance
•  Landfill design
•  Stormwater design
•  Creation of technical specifications
•  Creation of CQA specifications
•  Detailed utilities designs

Persons willing to fulfil the requirements of the proposed contract is invited to submit a tender to the Council by the deadline, 2pm on Tuesday 9 December 2025 (at the Tender Box). Responsibility for lodgement of completed tender documents by the deadline lies solely with the Tenderer. Tender lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.
