Renewal SA is seeking the services of an experienced and suitably qualified contractor for the provision of construction of the Western Plaza Reserve at Tonsley Innovation District .
The Western Plaza Reserve (WPR) will be a key public space within Tonsley Innovation district, designed to function as a major pedestrian interface between Lot 342 and the Boiler House Redevelopment and the gateway to the MAB precinct. The plaza will provide an attractive and functional throughfare establishing a clear East-West connection through site and enhancing walkability within Tonsley. As a Central pathway it will not only facilitate safe and efficient movement but also serve as a gathering place encouraging interaction between tenant, visitors and the broader community. This makes Western Plaza strategically significant project, reinforcing the district role as vibrant hub for innovation, enterprise and collaboration.
Once complete, Western Plaza Reserve will play a pivotal role in linking surrounding developments, providing tenants and visitors with high quality space to congregate, transition through the site and engage with the evolving Tonsley environment.
Scope:
Key elements include the construction of new pedestrian footpaths and throughfares, installation of trees and gardens to create shade, landscaped zones and use of concrete paving to ensure consistent finish across the site. Integrated public lighting will ensure safety and usability during evening hour, the design also incorporates contemporary landscape treatment irrigation systems, that will contribute to the overall amenity of the precinct.

Site Briefing/Inspection (Optional)
A briefing session will be held at 6 Mab Eastern Prom, Flinders University, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, 5042 on 11:00 am 5 November 2025.
Notes: Tender Site Inspection will be optional and will be held at the project site on the Wednesday, 5 November 2025 (11:00am). Please confirm registration via email to Ryan Dienhoff (Ryan.Dienhoff@sa.gov.au) by no later than Monday, 3 November 2025, Close of Business. Meeting location to be confirmed on Tuesday, 4 November 2025.
A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
