Scope

General Requirements

The Supplier is required to supply and install new, advanced, high-efficiency equipment for continuous, high-volume healthcare linen operations. The equipment must provide improved performance in throughput, energy efficiency, reliability, and operator ergonomics, and be suitable for installation within the existing on-site space and service connections, as confirmed during the site inspection.

The Supplier is also responsible for the decommissioning, removal, and lawful disposal or trade-in of the existing equipment, including all associated waste materials. Specific site requirements include:

• Parramatta Linen Services (PLS): Decommission and remove Blanket Folders #1 and #2, and install the replacement blanket folder.
• Newcastle Linen Services (NLS): Decommission and remove Blanket Folder #3, and install the replacement blanket folder.

Opportunity requirements

1. Mandatory Site Visit

As detailed in TENDER OVERVIEW AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS - Part A of the tender documents, a mandatory site visit is scheduled at both Newcastle and Parramatta Linen Services sites. This visit allows prospective tenderers to inspect the existing equipment to be decommissioned and removed, and to review the available space and installation requirements for the new equipment.

2. Tender Specifications Document - Part B

All detailed technical, performance, and delivery requirements are set out in Part B – Tender Specifications document attached, which must be read in full when preparing a response.

3. Tender Response Document - Part C

Tenderers must download, complete, and return the attached Tender Response Document - Part C, as part of their submission. Responses that do not include a completed Part C may be considered non-conforming.
