South Canterbury Asphaltic Concrete - Structural mill and fill as required - PW

This is a Physical Works contract for This Contract is for the construction of asphalt resurfacing of SH1 at the following two locations.

The Contract Works comprise of:

• Separable Portion A: 01S/430/1295 - 1990 (0.7 km). The scope of works is thin asphalt concrete treatment (traffic lanes and central flush median only) by milling and filling, with additional digout areas where structural pavement failure has been observed.
• A provisional item has been allowed for milling and filling the southbound shoulder and cycle lane. A decision can subsequently be made on whether to progress with this option pending budget availability and engineering judgement.
• Separable Portion B: 01S/430/2875 - 3310 (0.44 km). The scope of works is thin asphalt concrete treatment (full road width) by milling and filling, with additional digout areas where structural pavement failure has been observed.

Only tenderers pre-qualified to Surfacing – Level C (2C) and Construction – Level C (4C). under the terms of the Transport Agency’s Prequalification System are eligible to submit a tender.
