Galway Avenue Roundabout Construction

Purpose

Council is tendering for the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Galway Avenue, Jellicoe Street, Rheims Street, Broadview with works to commence early 2026.

Key Aspects

Key undertakings for the Contractor during the Works will include quality construction deliverables, positive interactions with stakeholders, minimise disruption to road users, public transport users and residents, create a sense of place and work collaboratively to achieve best for project outcomes and work through construction challenges. Detailed design documentation has been undertaken

Scope of Works

Scope of Works includes construction of roundabout, pavement, drainage, lighting and other civil works as well as interfacing and coordinating with Service Authorities.
