Number Plate Auctioneer Services

The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (the Department) seeks to engage auctioneer(s) capable of providing the following services:

• Conducting online auctions for number plates.

• Conducting face-to-face auctions for number plates.

• Conducting combined face-to-face and online auctions for number plates.

• Identifying key target audience groups based on historical auction data and registrations of interest.

• Pre-qualifying registered bidders to ensure eligibility.

• Marketing of auctions and associated advertising completed in consultation with the Department’s Marketing and Communications team to provide optimal engagement and return for the number plate auction(s).

• Post auction evaluation report to include marketing plan deliverables, auction statistics (E.G. bidding details), lessons learned and key recommendations.

• Providing professional advice on number plate auctions to achieve maximum returns, including recommendations on optimal timing, auction frequency, quantity and types of number plates to auction, starting bid and reserve pricing strategies.
