Expressions of Interest – Independent Members (Audit and Risk Committee)

The City of Busselton is seeking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced independent persons to join its Audit and Risk Committee.

The City of Busselton's Audit and Risk Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to Council regarding financial management, risk management, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated high level of expertise and knowledge in financial management, risk management, governance, and both internal and external audit.

The Audit and Risk Committee meets a minimum of four times per year, with additional meetings as required.

Prior to submitting an expression of interest all interested persons are encouraged to read:

• the Expression of Interest document
• the Code of Conduct for Elected Members, Committee Members and Candidates; and
• the Audit and Risk Committee’s Terms of Reference.

Expressions of interest close at 4.00pm (AWST) 4 November 2025.
