Tender Details
Tender Description
New Plymouth District Council (Council) is seeking a comprehensive RFID security system renewal for Puke Ariki and Community Libraries to replace ageing infrastructure and maintain high service levels. New Plymouth's community library network, operated by NPDC, is a well-connected system designed to serve residents across the district.
The new RFID system must include RFID workstation pads, return shelves, self-check kiosks, and security gates, all integrated with our existing Library Management System (Sirsi Dynix Symphony via Kotui). It should support efficient inventory management, user-friendly interfaces, and robust reporting capabilities. The solution must comply with New Zealand data standards, offer high-speed processing, and ensure data privacy and system availability. Hardware and software must be compatible with current infrastructure and suppliers must offer local support, ensure seamless integration with NPDCs existing systems, and provide options for printed RFID tags as well as footfall tracking solutions.
