Supply and Application of Road Reserve Weed Spraying

The City of Melville (City) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to supply and apply non-selective herbicide to footpaths, road kerbs, and traffic islands within the City.

The Contract period is for an initial term of two years with three additional 12 month option periods which will be exercised at the sole discretion of the City.

The City will appoint one Contractor for the provision of the Services under the Contract.

This Contract does not preclude the City from conducting weed control utilising its own staff.

Unless directed otherwise by the City Representative, the following areas shall be excluded from the Contract:

Sumps and Public Access Ways

The Fiona Stanley Hospital Precinct (approximate area shown in Appendix 1)

The quantities provided in the below table are indicative only and are subject to change by the City. There shall be four City wide applications per year as well as any additional applications, in whole or in part, as specifically directed by the City Representative.
